Overview
Empathic Curiosity in a Divided World
Studying doctors and patients during emotionally charged conflicts suggests that empathic curiosity can be surprisingly effective and therapeutic. Investigating successful examples of post-war reconciliation further illuminates the value of empathic curiosity and how it can
be practiced despite extreme polarization. These studies provide a pathway forward to addressing conflicts not only in our daily lives but in our highly divided societies.
