Speakers
ASHWIN SINGH is an award-winning playwright, actor, director and filmmaker. He is the author of Durban Dialogues, Indian Voice and Durban Dialogues, Then and Now. His theatre productions have travelled throughout South Africa as well as to India and London. Singh’s debut documentary film The Cane Cutters’ Transcendence was selected for festivals in South Africa, Kenya, India, New Zealand and the UK. It won awards for best documentary feature at The Global Indian Film Festival and The Ideal International Film Festival.
